VALERIA MILTON
OwnerValeria Milton, Co-Creator of the Spirit of Samba entertainment group, grew up in the heart of Rio de Janeiro where dance and the beat of the drum became imprinted in her soul. Valeria has been featured as the Muse of the Samba School for the world famous Carnival in Rio de Janeiro 2017. Valeria has shared the stage with world famous Brazilians singers such as Jorge Aragão and Sergio Mendes. Featured as the principal performer for the State of Hawaii's Mardi Grass as well as the Orlando Arena's globally televised halftime show performance and has been featured in international magazines. Most recently, Valeria performed as a principal dancer in Rio de Janeiro's Carnival first place champion's 2017. Valeria continues to travel internationally, entertaining all over the world and now featured with the Spirit of Samba entertainment group.
MICHELLE BAILEY
OwnerMichelle Bailey, Co-Creator of Spirit of Samba entertainment, was born and raised in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, the Samba capital of the world. Michelle has degrees in classical ballet and jazz and also has studied Broadway musicals and hip-hop at the famous Broadway and Steps dance studio in New York. Michelle has been featured as a professional dancer all over the world, while representing the famous Carnival of Brazil with the Samba School Beija Flor de Nilopolis. From Soap Operas and TV shows on the famous TV Globo and TV Record channels of Brazil, to leading the Olympic Opening Ceremony for the Australian Track and Field team feature on Australia TV Channels, also performing on NBC Upfront at Radio City Music Hall. There isn't much that Michelle hasn't accomplished through dance!
